October 12th, 2021, Riga - the Ambassador of the Republic of Moldova to the Republic of Latvia Andrian Roșa had a working meeting with the Director of the Institute of Economics of the Latvian Academy of Sciences, Dr. Nina Linde. The meeting took place in the context of the Embassy's efforts to promote bilateral Moldovan-Latvian research cooperation.

Both sides confirmed their mutual interest in establishing cooperation between the National Institute for Economic Research of the Republic of Moldova and the Institute of Economics of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Latvia, Ambassador Andrian Roșa highlighting the research related topics of interest such as economic instruments in assessing and stimulating the competitiveness of agriculture, demographic and migration changes, innovative tools for increasing the well-being, developing the entrepreneurial ecosystem to strengthen the small and medium business sector.

During the dialogue, the possibilities for joint elaboration and development of research projects within the European development programs were also evaluated, as well as the deepening of the bilateral direct collaboration of the Moldovan-Latvian scientific circles.
